How to Apply

1.

Fill out and submit an application and pay the $150 application fee.

2.

Complete application by submitting:

  1. REFERRAL FORM from your child's current teacher.

  2. A copy of your child's BIRTH CERTIFICATE

  3. A copy of your child's most recent REPORT CARD.

  4. A copy of your child's most recent STANDARDIZED TEST SCORES.

An assessment will be scheduled for your child.

After the assessment, an admissions decision will be made.

Acceptance guidelines include:

  1. Established membership in West Portal Lutheran Church

  2. Brothers or sisters in West Portal Lutheran School

  3. Application information

  4. Current school evaluation

 

 Parents will receive the admissions decision by email and phone.

Upon acceptance to West Portal Lutheran School, a non-refundable, non-transferable tuition deposit of $1,350 for the 2022-2023 school year will be due in order to guarantee your child’s space in his or her class. It will serve as your first installment toward your child’s tuition for the ensuing year. Your remaining balance will be divided into a number of installments, which you will choose later.
