What is your favorite thing about teaching?
Every day is different. Nothing is routine or rote.
Who/what inspired you to become a teacher?
My high school English teacher planted in me a love for literature. I also admired his colorful socks.
Can you share any favorite quotes?
The end of Tennyson’s poem “Ulysses” is inspiring for me as I get older.

Listening to any Dickens audio book being narrated by a really good English actor. I recommend Bleak House read by Anton Lesser.

Haha! I’d like to learn martial art—kung fu. If only I were younger....
