Tim Dwight

This is Mr. Dwight’s fourth year teaching at WPLS. He came to West Portal after 13 years of
teaching English, creative writing, and religion at Morrison Academy, an international school in
Taichung, Taiwan. He earned his MA in writing from University of San Francisco and his BA in
English from North Park University in Chicago, Illinois. Mr. Dwight shows a strong interest in
current events and world affairs and tries to integrate this interest into the classroom. He also
likes hiking, reading, and cooking (really eating). As a teacher, Mr. Dwight hopes to lead
students on a path toward growth in character and mind.
