What is your favorite thing about teaching?
Building a unique relationship with each student as the year progresses.
Please describe anything unique or interesting in your background that is relevant to the job.
I have taught all age groups - from Kindergarten to university.
Who is someone you really admire and why?
So many people in my family (my mother; my husband) but today I really admire my 13-year-old daughter because she has shown me that a person doesn't have to be old to be wise or kind.
Can you share any favorite quotes?
“A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects.” ~ Robert Heinlein
