Heather Chester

Heather Chester is a Graphic Design//Visual Arts Educator and Psychology student located in the San Francisco Bay area. She specializes in Elementary through High School education with experience in Digital Media, Digital Photography, Painting, Drawing, and Ceramics. Ms. White is excited to explore the integration of technology, digital citizenship and creativity in the upcoming school year. Most of her art work contains themes of cross-cultural conversations and the use of language in visual art. She has exhibited and curated shows internationally in the Emirates Palace Abu Dhabi, UAE, Edinburgh, UK and Alegircas, Spain. Ms. White has a Bachelors of Fine Arts and a Bachelors of Psychology with an emphasis in integrating emotional intelligence in classroom settings. She is currently enrolled in Masters of Psychology and specializes in research regarding the correlation between emotional intelligence and learning outcomes. Additionally, Heather completed the NDNU teaching credential program. Her philosophy, as an educator, is to create a student centered learning environment in which students develop growth mindsets.
