The mission statement of West Portal Lutheran’s Parent Teacher League is:
“Enrichment, Fellowship, Community – The West Portal Lutheran School PTL’s mission is to Enrich our students spiritual and educational experience, build Fellowship amongst our WPLS students, families, and friends and develop our WPLS Community through programs and activities that support and encourage our students and families to be service oriented Christian leaders.”
The main focus of the Parent-Teacher League is to build a stronger community with our parents and faculty through fundraising and meetings. The PTL holds four general meetings per school year and speakers are selected to help parents and children in today’s busy world. To foster fellowship at the meetings, a dinner/social before the meeting and child care during the meeting are offered.
