By the grace of God, West Portal Lutheran Church operates a Christian day school in our evangelical Lutheran tradition. Our goals are:

- to nurture and help each child grow as a whole, happy, and healthy person
- to minister to the spiritual, moral, educational, interpersonal, cultural, and physical needs of each child
